The FET phase of APAX aims to guide the transition of each learner from school life to the endless number of opportunities which lie beyond. Combining academic excellence with a strong Islamic ethos equips our learners to develop the necessary skills needed to enter professional environments of tertiary education and workplaces while maintaining our beautiful Muslim identity.

We view each learner as a unique individual and our small classes provide a platform for educators to engage with each student according to their needs. The FET phase is made up of Grades 10, 11 and 12 and sees a shift of subjects to more specialised areas. The journey to our learners’ careers begins here and our ultimate goal is to see their dreams become reality through the guidance of our fantastic team.
ACADEMIC PROGRAMME
Our academic program was created with the intention of providing opportunities into many career paths and we are constantly looking to expand our frontiers as the world changes around us.
Currently, learners in this phase create a personalised stream from the following subjects:
- Home Language – English
- First Additional Language – Afrikaans
- Life Orientation
- Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy
- Physical Sciences / History
- Accounting / Geography
- Business Studies / Life Sciences

Every learner at APAX is required to join at least one extra mural per term. The program is finalised at the beginning of each academic year and will make up a combination of sporting activities and academic enhancement programs. Some popular choices are soccer, netball, table tennis and debating.
